
Mark Gorman
Head of Thinking
Mark began his career in advertising 25 years ago at Hall
Advertising in Edinburgh, fresh from a one year vocational
course at Watford College and before that a degree in Plant
Physiology from Stirling University. He moved from Hall
Advertising to work with Peter Mill at the fast growing Leith
Agency in 1988 before branching out to run his own business,
1576 Advertising in 1994. In 2003 he left 1576 to pursue a
consultancy career but returned a year later as CEO of Citigate
SMARTS. After two years in this role he again left the world
of plc agencies to work as Head of Thinking for 60 Watt.
Mark is Chairman of Creative Edinburgh and a former
Chairman of the IPA.
